OAU Management and ASUU disagree over the strike action.
By Oludiran Olusola and Olaleye Oluwasola The management of Obafemi Awolowo University has reacted to the declaration of strike by the Academics Staff Union of Universities Obafemi Awolowo University chapter that the students should continue with their academics activities on campus. The management made this affirmation in the official release signed by the registrar of the school Mrs M I Omosule on Tuesday 6th November, 2018 stating that "academic session is very much on course. As there are no plans to compel students to vacate the campus until the end of the year holidays. He thereby ensure the welfare and safety of students and staffs respectively " It should be recalled that the ASUU chairman OAU chapter D.
