OAU NASEL Executives wiped out

The parliamentary arm of National Association of Students of English and Literary studies has unanimously flayed the executives of the department as almost all them were impeached in the parliamentary sitting which held on Sunday 3rd December 2017.

According to the resolution of sitting signed by the leadership of the parliament which states that the President of the association Fatoba sola(Shollyman), the vice president Akindoyin Mary (Mama G), the financial secretary Adewole Adeshakin, the Treasurer Opaaje Alexander, the public relations officer Olaobaju Ayomitunde have been impeached due to the constitutional aberration which they committed, and for their insubordination towards the parliament for not gracing the invitation letter sent to them.

Likewise, the  Director of socials Adeshiru Adekunle and the Director of sports Hassan Adeyinka were suspended for two weeks for misappropriation of priorities .

While the Assistant general secretary Tiamiyu Daniel and the Assistant Librarian Ogunjimi Tunmilara were asked to pay the fine of a thousand naira .

Presently , the speaker of the parliament has been asked to act in the capacity of the President of the association, while all transactions in the department account are to be on halt.

Nigeria school of thought inaugurates new executives

tr">By Oludiran olusola The Nigerian students of thought has inaugurated her new executive members on Thursday 23rd, 2017 The inauguration which took place in the executive secretariat of Fajuyi hall of residence of Obafemi Awolowo University, with the main aim of giving the baton to the next set of leaders in order to continue the raising of Nigerian students conscious , after the election which brought in the new executives. According to the outgone president of the association, Ayo Toluwase while he was  giving speech at the inauguration ceremony, he said  that " when this  association was founded in 2014 , it was not for the graduated students to be flocking around after their graduation like some known associations like NANS , but to give the incoming generations opportunity to display their leadership skills with their acquired ideology and knowledge. OAU SU president impeached!

The parliamentarians of Obafemi Awolowo University have impeached the President of the students union Oyekan Ibukun Edward in their parliamentary sitting which held today Saturday 4th November , 2017. The impeachment motions was said to be moved by two honorables before they later voted, in which the result of the vote validated the impeachment of the President with 37 votes out 51 honorables present in the parliamentary sitting. According to the clerk of the house Iyiola Oluwatosin Damilare in his press release regarding the President 's impeachment, which says "the President was impeached because he used the students' union bus to convene cultists  to campus on November 1st 2017 to threaten the peace of the peace of Obafemi Awolowo University community just to defend his Adolf Hitler manner.
