Ifearts Freshers week sets to hold powerfully

The Faculty of Arts Students Association's freshers week is set to hold in  multi dimensional ways , such that it will be remarkable.

This is made known by the executive arm of the association led by Oribenson in the public release gave out by the arm that the freshers' week which will be starting on Monday 21st  2018 at Ajose lecture theatre,  with the theme " Why are we in school? The essence of setting priorities right for a better tomorrow.

The event which has been designed to host men of timbre and calibre such as the Honorable Commissioner for information and strategy Osun state,  Honorable Adelani Baderinwa ,  The Head of quality and regulations compliance,  Seven Up bottling Mr Adekunle Olusuyi as the keynote speakers .

Meanwhile,  the 2018 governorship aspirants Osun state,  Tunde Eso,  the former special assistant to Governor Osun state, Babatunde Hareter Oralusi, the Vice Dean  of the faculty,  Dr Famakinwa  , the staff Adviser of the Faculty Association , the former student union Secretary General Obafemi Awolowo University students union , Boluwajaiye Adeoluwa will be the guest speakers of the event.

While the Dean of the faculty Professor Gbemisola Adeoti will  grace the event as the Father the day .

Nigeria school of thought inaugurates new executives

tr">By Oludiran olusola The Nigerian students of thought has inaugurated her new executive members on Thursday 23rd, 2017 The inauguration which took place in the executive secretariat of Fajuyi hall of residence of Obafemi Awolowo University, with the main aim of giving the baton to the next set of leaders in order to continue the raising of Nigerian students conscious , after the election which brought in the new executives. OAU SU president impeached!

The parliamentarians of Obafemi Awolowo University have impeached the President of the students union Oyekan Ibukun Edward in their parliamentary sitting which held today Saturday 4th November , 2017. The impeachment motions was said to be moved by two honorables before they later voted, in which the result of the vote validated the impeachment of the President with 37 votes out 51 honorables present in the parliamentary sitting. According to the clerk of the house Iyiola Oluwatosin Damilare in his press release regarding the President 's impeachment, which says "the President was impeached because he used the students' union bus to convene cultists  to campus on November 1st 2017 to threaten the peace of the peace of Obafemi Awolowo University community just to defend his Adolf Hitler manner.
