OAU law progressive condemns Journalists victimization.

By Oludiran Olusola The progressive sect of Obafemi Awolowo University Law students has condemned the arrest and victimization of the national journalists by the Nigeria Police Force . The condemnation was asserted through the press release by the leadership of the organization Co signed by Ilugbo Deborah,  Bin Zak Azeez, Oyeyemi Abass, and Adetola Yussuf on 16th August,  2018, indicting the federal government and Nigeria Police Force for arresting  journalists Jones A biri and Segun Ogundipe a premium times Journalist who were detained unlawfully and illegally and Kunle Adebanjo a campus journalist of University of Ibadan who was rusticated by the university for publishing a story against the ill doings of the school. OAU Management responds to non accreditation of some courses.

By Oludiran Olusola The  management of Obafemi Awolowo University has reacted to the recent non accreditation of some courses in the school for the programme session of 2018/2019 which has caused a lot of confusion to the students and aspirants who are anticipating to study  them. The response was confirmed in the special release by the management of the school on Monday 6th, August 2018 , according to the release in which the management of the school confirms its  awareness of the latest burning issues of non accreditation of some courses like Law,  Botany,  Dentistry, Family Nutrition and Fine and applied art. According to the statement which states that "There are 106 programmes in the University of which the five mentioned above have issues with accreditation. Although all these programmes actually had interim status during the last exercise, they were denied accreditation because of the existing NUC regulation which does not allow for back to back interi...
