Aisha Buhari returns to see her ailing husband



Aisha Buhari left Ethiopia, where she had gone on an official trip, on a seven-hour trip to London to see her husband

President Muhammadu Buhari had been in London for weeks now after handing over the country to Yemi Osinbajo

Aisha, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has returned to London where her husband has been receiving treatment for weeks now.

Buhari had written the Nigerian Senate informing the lawmakers that he had handed over to Professor Yemi Osinbajo, his vice who would now act as the president.

He did not also give a definite date for his return. But since his trip, there had been speculations about his health status with some Nigerians demanding to have details.

Aisha had travelled to London to see Buhari recently and upon her return, said the president was recovering and better than when he left Nigeria.

She also said the president thanked Nigerians for supporting Acting President Osinbajo.


Aisha’s personal assistant, Zaynab Ikaz- Kassim, explained that she returned to London after attending an official event.

OAU SU president impeached!

The parliamentarians of Obafemi Awolowo University have impeached the President of the students union Oyekan Ibukun Edward in their parliamentary sitting which held today Saturday 4th November , 2017. The impeachment motions was said to be moved by two honorables before they later voted, in which the result of the vote validated the impeachment of the President with 37 votes out 51 honorables present in the parliamentary sitting. According to the clerk of the house Iyiola Oluwatosin Damilare in his press release regarding the President 's impeachment, which says "the President was impeached because he used the students' union bus to convene cultists  to campus on November 1st 2017 to threaten the peace of the peace of Obafemi Awolowo University community just to defend his Adolf Hitler manner.
