"Corruption is a killer" Yoruba Monarch insists
The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi has described corruption in the Nigeria as a deadly cankerworm which does nothing else but to kill the progress of the country.
While giving his speech on the topic " building and sustaining viable youth for the society " in oduduwa hall of Obafemi Awolowo University on Wednesday 11th October 2017, The Monarch lamented about the state of country as he said " Corruption is killing this nation and Youth of Nigeria must fight it out with all their strengths because if you do not destroy it, you will be destroyed by it. "
He also called the attention of Nigeria politicians to put their proper attention to corruption, he said "any politician who is not ready to exterminate corruption will never earn my support."
He also admonished the youths and the government to empower industrialization in the country , in other to overcome the challenges of unemployment the country is facing
