OAU warns students against protests.
The management of Obafemi Awolowo University has warned the students of the school not to engage in any form of protest because of the suspended students.
It will be recalled that the school suspended three students during the week, the students who are oluwalade Babatunde from faculty of Arts, who is the chairman of transportation committee of the students Union, John Udeh from faculty of Education and Omole Ibukun from faculty of Technology for participating in a peaceful protest for electricity on 5th and 6th October 2017.
Although , students have decided to take proactive steps in order to obtain justice and fairness for the suspended students.
Sequel to this, the management has threatened in the latest special release from the Director of Students affairs , signed by the Dean Professor Aransi himself, stating that " students are advised to avoid insinuation or call for protest on the matter so as to avoid complicating the matter for the suspended students"
