From Congress to retrogress!

           

With the sincerity of  heart and without contours in my opinions, I actually witnessed a disastrous future and how dislocating the future of this country  today.

According to the myth and historical lane that they have always been trending to me to me about Obafemi Awolowo University,  her greatness in consciousness and radicalism, and firm standing against oppressors in all and sundry. The school of great heroes and Icons in struggle, those who wouldn't care about their lives for struggles.

Even,  sometimes I ask my self did Afrika truly attend this school or are those histories ordinary fables?  Intellectual fighters for Emancipation indeed!  How about the Congress highest decision making body in the school, hmm,  the Congress they said It is always full of depictment of intellectualism.

Indeed the Congress was held today,  and many deplorable and not worthy circumstance burst out before me Which I could not believe my eyes about ,  of course  they were like nightmare to me.
When the Congress started, I was like this is the most wonderful one on earth,  never knew I was in euphoria or illusion of reality  until a the reality of our leaders started showing forth.
I couldn't believe it when the President started selecting his personal people for submissions and this actually brought the impression that the President is bias and not democratic enough!

That was brought about the escalation of the matter,  before I knew it, drama has occurred and all dramatic elements started coming up,  some started using the opportunity to avenge their political enemies,  misplacement of priorities started erupting,  and the President was incapacitated than to use his projection voice "greatest Ife articulate Ife the Congress shall continue !". Embarrassment overwhelmed me,  I felt humiliated and dissapointed until the President had to take to his heel sardonic!

Greatest Ife articulate Ife,  it is my displeasure to insinuate that the the school has obviously lost its glory and consciousness it was known for,  moreover, many evaluations have confirmed to me that if we continue like the,  the school is in disaster.

However,  the solution lies within our capability,  we should start a massive campaign to resuscitate our consciousness not political vendetta but for progress of the Union,  it is also high time we stood our ground on how to tackle the negligence of the student union leaders,  leaving politics aside but revolution.in all aspects starting from the  welfare of students, security and other benefiting sector.

If we really want the school to be great,  the ineffective position must out rightly be stopped.  Don't let us forget that posterity will always be our judge in the future. On this note I say Aluta Victoria Ascerta!

Nigeria school of thought inaugurates new executives

tr">By Oludiran olusola The Nigerian students of thought has inaugurated her new executive members on Thursday 23rd, 2017 The inauguration which took place in the executive secretariat of Fajuyi hall of residence of Obafemi Awolowo University, with the main aim of giving the baton to the next set of leaders in order to continue the raising of Nigerian students conscious , after the election which brought in the new executives. According to the outgone president of the association, Ayo Toluwase while he was  giving speech at the inauguration ceremony, he said  that " when this  association was founded in 2014 , it was not for the graduated students to be flocking around after their graduation like some known associations like NANS , but to give the incoming generations opportunity to display their leadership skills with their acquired ideology and knowledge. OAU SU president impeached!

The parliamentarians of Obafemi Awolowo University have impeached the President of the students union Oyekan Ibukun Edward in their parliamentary sitting which held today Saturday 4th November , 2017. The impeachment motions was said to be moved by two honorables before they later voted, in which the result of the vote validated the impeachment of the President with 37 votes out 51 honorables present in the parliamentary sitting. According to the clerk of the house Iyiola Oluwatosin Damilare in his press release regarding the President 's impeachment, which says "the President was impeached because he used the students' union bus to convene cultists  to campus on November 1st 2017 to threaten the peace of the peace of Obafemi Awolowo University community just to defend his Adolf Hitler manner.
